I did not think it desirable that I should trouble either the Admiral Kutt Stewart or Mr. Leslie.
Captain King replies that at the Artillery Mess on the 14th instant you "stated publicly at the Table that the Chief Justice was drunk, that he could be drunk at Government House the night before, and that he considered the cloth disgraced" to that effect.
